Shadowing Neha Govindraj of Bonside Financial

This summer, I had the opportunity to shadow founder and entrepreneur Neha Govindraj in New York City for a day. Neha is an alumna of my school and was recently featured in my school magazine. After college, she started her career at Bain, but then left the safe path to found Bonside Financial, a firm providing loans to brick and mortar companies. Even more amazingly, Neha founded Bonside in 2021, foreseeing that physical businesses were, in her words: "the lifeblood of our communities."

I reached out to Neha after seeing her article, and asked if I could spend a day shadowing her. To my delight, she said yes! I spent the day sitting in on meetings and learning more about Neha's business. Just goes to show; if you don't ask...
